Gum prints with an enlarger-clarification

I have received, so far, four messages asking me how to make gum
prints with an enlarger. Please let me clear this up. First, I
don't know how to make gum prints with an enlarger. Second, I it
can be done, I suspect you would need a special enlarger with a
carbon arc light source. Third, I was just replying to a post by
someone who has a friend who had invented a process to do this but
wants to sell the formula. The question was posted, "is anyone
interested?" I replyed, "I am." If the author of the original
post is around, PLEASE repost the information since a lot of
folks, including me, are interested. Thanks,
