I would like very much to read the original text of Nicol.

I have always been confused by the great variation of names in some processes.
I call kallitype any process with tends to work as Nicol's original, but the
first kallitype process described in Crawford's book, isn't it what someone
call Van Dijk process.

Not important anyway!
I work with a mixture of Mike Ware's Argyrotype and a few other Kallitype
formulas and I still call that kallitype.
Kalli means beautiful in greek. That's enough.
