Hi all,
Just a few points for you to note:

1. My email address is stevea@vast.unsw.edu.au, not steve. steve
belongs to an academic staff member (ie. lecturer), and I'm a mere
student. I'd prefer not to be an annoyance to him, so please take care
when addressing email to me.

2. To unsubscribe from the list, send the message

unsub alt-photo-process

to listproc@vast.unsw.edu.au . Do not include anything else in the body
of the message, make sure you send it to listproc and not the list, and
the subject line is not necessary.

3. Remember which account it is from which you have subscribed,
and make sure you send email to the list from that account. Any email
sent from an account which is not subscribed bounces silently.

4. Try not to bulk quote from another email message. This is
both out of respect for those who pay for their email, and also to
prevent the listproc bouncing your message (it will bounce any message
it thinks is sufficiently similar to one already sent).

5. The policy on advertising workshops, books, services, and
materials is fairly lax. If you have something you want to let others
know about, feel free to post a message to the list, so long as it is to
the point, and not blatant advertising ("... but wait, there's
more!"). Please refrain from constant advertising - posting once every
one to two months would be acceptable - daily would be unacceptable.

6. If any email to you bounces repeatedly, I unsubscribe you. If
you haven't had any email for a while and are wondering if you're still
subscribed, send the request "RECIPIENTS ALT-PHOTO-PROCESS" to the
listproc and it will tell you just who is subscribed.

7. Lastly, if you have any hassles with the list, drop me some
personal email. Please refrain from posting to the list. My turnaround
time can be a bit slow sometimes, and remember I'm a day ahead of most
of you so don't process your Friday message for a day or two. I will get
to your request, so please be patient.

cheers
-steve
