I have mentioned on several occassions on this list that Polycontrast
III RC paper *N* surface is an excellent paper for carbro. I have
over the years experimented with all of the papers listed on the FAQ
of this list (except something called Royal Super Brome that I have
never heard of) and Kodak Polycontrast III is by far the best. You
will need to print a little flat and with slightly more density than
would be considered correct for a regular monochrome print but
if your sensitizing technique is good you can get excellent highlight
detail with this paper. Please note that my comments refer only
to the N surface.
