Gallic Acid or Pyro (?).

Ilford's ID 1 formula:

Solution A

Water (52C), 750cc
Potassium metabisulphite, 25 g ;dissolve before adding pyro
Pyrogallic acid, 100g
Add cold water to 1 litre.

Solution B

Water (52C),750 cc
Sodium Carbonate 44 g
Anhydrous sodium sulphite 50 g
Potassium Bromide 1.2 g
Add cold water to make 1 litre

For tray development use one part A to ten parts B and ten parts water at 20C
and develop for 2.5 to 5 mins
For tank development one part A to five parts B and twenty parts at 20C and
develop for 5 to 10 mins.
