I use D23 with TMX developing for a DR of 1.8. It producess a very
low fog level (0.04). I use it straight for anywhere from 5 to 20
minutes @ 75 degrees F followed (usually) by 3 minutes in 1% Kodalk.
This produces good shadow separation without blocking up the
highlights. The above times are for rotary development (Jobo or
BTZS).

I have tried PMK Pyro and personally prefer D23 for most of my work.
