There will be an informal meeting of people interested in Alt-Photo
processes in Paris, France, now scheduled for Saturday May 4th 1996. If all
goes according to plans, several people, including Klaus Pollmeier, Guy de
Riencourt, Marc Bruhat and myself will meet at a location yet to be
determined. Those who can join us are welcome and are invited to bring
along some samples of their work. I'll take a few Fressons and carbon
transfers and Marc Bruhat will show us specimens of his UltraStable
(4-color carbon) work. There is no fee, no workshop, nor formal lecture
planned as of yet and everybody is expected to pay for their own expenses.
Perhaps others in Europe who can't join us in Paris, can meet me later in
one of the following locations as I visit photo museums and conservation
laboratories. In France: Paris, Chalon sur Saone, Bordeaux; in Switzerland:
Neuchatel, Lausanne, Geneva.
As this is likely to be of interest to relatively few people mostly in
Europe, I suggest that further discussion on this rendez-vous be handled
*offlist*.
