Actually Elizabeth, I think everybody should get this info so I send it
to the list:
The paperback book is "Josef Sudek: The Pigment Prints, 1947-1954." Price
is $45 plus $5 UPS plus in NY $3.71 tax.
I ordered it by phone from the ICP Midtown bookstore (212/768-4684), since
my first principle is that going above 14th Street is to be avoided
whenever possible, and getting to the show itself was travel enough.
The lady explained that the relatively high price for paperback is due to
its being an import. Publisher is Sinubia. I daresay our European
colleagues will pay less.
In any event, judging by the brief look I got at the book, it's a
must-have.
