Terry,

I have been making carbon tissue on paper base for many years. If you had
worse results using sugar and glycerine than without these elements, then
by all means leave them out. I find that both are very helpful in dispering
pigments.

You asked in another note if I was using pure pigments -- the answer is
yes. What I use for my monochrome formulations I get from Createx Colors
in East Granby,CT, for color work from Heubach.

The reason I am interested in coating on Mylar is to make 3-color carbons
with automatic registration.
