I use Liquid light on full sheets of watercolor paper (about 20x30 inches).
I find I have to use 3 coats to get good blacks. I enlarge from 4x5 negs. I
find that I loose some of the lighter detail areas when I go this large./
Also the exposures are quite long. I can correct some of my exposure
misakes with hand coloring so this doesn't always bother me.

I apply hot, not warm, Liquid Light with a paint roller used for trim. It
comes with it's own disposable tray. If you have the LL hot enough you can
spread it out with the roller before it begins to set. I let each coat dry
before reapplication. You must use a fixer with a hardnener for best
adhesion.
