There are several others on this list much more qualified to answer this than I,
so I'll try to keep to the simple questions.

As far as I know, the "Keepers of the Light" technique is fairly standard, and
seems to work. At the least, I did succeed in making a carbon print using this
method. Yes, there are variations in sensitizer's, etc..

If you have been making platinum prints, I imagine the same light source would
work. The alt.photo archives do have several discussions on light sources.

Mostly you need a source of carbon tissue. I believe that it is best to make
your own. I have a formula I've been tinkering with using packages of Knox
gelatin, you can have. This isn't great, but was a way for me to try it with
what I had on hand.

I too would be interested in such a workshop. I can travel some, but am
somewhat limited in this respect. I live in the Denver, Colorado area, and
would be willing to find a place to hold the seminar if this would help. Anyone
want to teach it?
