To make us all even more curious: I called Phillip Berger to come to that Paris
meeting next Saturday and he agreed to show us some of his prints - both the
direct enlarged gums and the Sury prints. He told me that he has not modified
his enlarger (no uv-bulb frying the negs...) and exposes 15 seconds or so. And,
as he said, he just optimized all parameters like the right gum, the right
sensitizer, the right pigment. I still can't believe it but will tell you more
next week.
