Hello Gummists

If there is one area where overcomplication seems to predominate in alternative
processes it is in registering the print against the negative or negatives.

For heavy estar based negatives all you need is pins, two usually, but if very
fine detail is involved, four. The print and the negative should be held in
place with Magic Tape which has low but sufficient tack and has the advantage of
leaving almost no trace on the final print.as it very translucent.

For paper negatives ordinary transparent tape can be used to reinforce the holes
as there is no need to remove it afterwards.

I felt tempted not to join this discussion further as it obvious that to many
the adventure is in the making not in the achievement and who am I to spoil
their fun.
