I use a slightly different method than Richard.

First I use a coating rod that is 2" wider than my print area. I like a
lot of blank paper outside my print area so my coating rod is usually not
as wide as my paper.

I mix my sensitizer in a shot glass. In one fluid motion I pour the
sensitizer onto the center of my paper, pouring it in a line, as long as
my coating rod, moving from top to bottom.

I then "dab" the entire glass rod into the line of sensitizer a few times
to get the solution to evenly wick along the rod. I then push the
sensitizer to the left side of my image area (+ about 1 "), stop, lift
the rod, hop over the line of sensitizer, put the rod back down again,
then push the sensitizer back across the page to the other side. I go
back and forth like this about 8 times. Finish up at one side and, using
a paper towel, wipe up the very slight excess from where the rod was lifted
off the paper.

That's it!
