When I have tried adding gold to the sensitizer, it seems to precipitate
out, staining even the unexposed areas of the print. Did you print with
black borders, which would mask the result I have described?

By the time the gold is in the final mix of the sensitizer it is
considerably less concentrated than 20%> That is not to say that it is
not expensive, still.
