I'am new to this newsgroup, to any in fact.
It.s my first time! Answering Robert, all i can say, i'm doing gum for
quite a while, since 85. Always the same size wich is 20x24 inches on
larger paper . Since at that size registration is =A8primus=A8, two coats of
sizing: gelatin then formaldehide, standard method . Tough i read about
Judy glyoxal, did'nt tried it. Using pins for registration, four of them,
works fine. For all the rest it's all in the culinary problems of the
process. When you find a good method that works for you , stick with it, if
you want repeatable result. I almost forgot humidity is the biggest
problem, find a way to deal with it: humidifier, deshumidifier, fan, water
spray bottle on the reverse side off the print etc.
Regarding technical problems w/which I can help, I'll
stay in touch with the group.
