Not to mention the reflections from the ceiling lights -- of whatever kind
-- in the glass of the photograph, the more darks the worse, and the
larger the print, the worse. Great big photographs, now in vogue, can
hardly be enjoyed at all. But even medium size, as a Steichen carbon print
seen in the Metropolitan recently, or rather unseen....
