Assuming you have a large format camera, consider doing what I did. Make
one lensboard that will accept a filter ring (skylight filter with the
glass removed) and a hinged piece of wood with some felt on the back for
your shutter. Then you can "screw in" any pinhole diamiter / focal lenght
you want. Just mount in in another "filter ring". You may discover, like
me, that the classic formula for pinhole diameter gives you "too much"
resolution for the look you are after. With this system, it is easy to
change. Also try making an F16 "viewing" pinhole, this will allow a lot
more flexability in aiming you camera and composing your image (it ios
dark, but better than nothing). Also, you'll have the ability to use
normal film holders. One of the biggest problems with the "oat meal" crowd
is that their "camera" can't be reloaded without a darkroom. Good luck,
and have fun. The pinhole resource people someone earlier left a WWW
address for are a lot of help and good info. What out for reciprocity
failure in your film, and oddly, for lower than expected contrast.
