Having lurked on this list for the past month I yesterday took the plunge and
made my first ever alternative print. The process I chose to use was the Salt
Print process. And guess what? It worked first time. Well, second time if I'm
honest. The first wasn't a total success because I'd used too much sensitiser
and ended up with a couple of puddles which dried out in a peculiar way.
Anyway, I'm now all fired up and intend to try to improve my results. And I hope
to be able to contribute occasionally.
I've also been sent an Argyrotye kit (a la Mike Ware) to review for Darkroom
User, so I shall be trying that, too.
