Are Acrylic Varnishes Archival? I really don't know. I have used a Krylon
Spray Acrylic to seal my gums on canvas. I have two fears about this the
first is that the acrylic could destroy the image over time and the second
is that some conservator could think the image is a kind of paint. But the
later fear is probably not as likely since a conservator would test first.
