liquid light/etchings

Thanks for all the suggestions.
In response to a question, I am planning to do the etching first and then
put the photo image within. In one experiment the emulsion worked even
going on top of the etching ink. I haven't gotten that far yet because of
the curling that occurred. Will try coating acrylic on the back of the Rives
paper.
Would the matte gel stuff be good or should I get the actual varnish?

Several years ago I was doing photoetching on copper plates using Kodak KPR.
It worked but the process was reallly noxious and finally I decided that getting
cancer was a likely outcome so I quit using it. I then tried many other
procedures
to do photoetching, including fish glue (what a story that is) but nothing
really
worked for me, possibly because I work at home and didn't have the proper
technology for using the various products. Anyhow, these days I have a little
more
space, but still not very good ventilation so I thought perhaps I could get
Liquid
Light to work for me.

Please keep those suggestions and comments coming!

Thanks

Michele
