Last I heard, the initial outlay for the laser-based photo-modelers was $60K
and up for a small base model. I suspect that if you can find the
manufacturer and ask for a client list, look for a smaller customer that
would let you on for $100/hr or so to help defray the bite they are feeling.
No clue how pricey the photosensitive polymer is, but that's probably be a
materials cost added to the time fee.
