I mentioned the Kernseife a time ago, but not for conditioning but for cleaning
the brushes; to be precise : cleaning the bromoil brushes. You do not have to
use chemicals - I used a cleaner based on natural products first , but the
inking up next time produces some curious results.
Then I used the Kernseife, it is a German name and stands for a soap without
any perfume or whatsoever, in the old days used for washing clothes and
nowadays back in the drugstores - in Holland I found them as 'SUNLIGHT' soap.
Kern stands for 'hard, stiff'.
If used for brushes you need some conditioner due to the fact that the soap
removes all the natural oils out of the hairs.
Cheers Henk
