*Dasonville D-1 Charcoal Black Paper Developer

Water 16 oz 500 ml
Metol 45 grains 3.0 grams
Sodium sulfite, anhydrous 1.5 oz 43.0 grams
Hydroquinone 165 grains 11.0 grams
Sodium carbonate, monohydrate 1 oz 75 grains 35.0 grams
Potassium bromide 30 grains 2.0 grams
Add water to 32 oz 1.0 liter

To use dilute 1 part of the stock sol. with 1 part of water. Developing
time: 2 min.

*Dasonville D-2

Water at 20=B0C 24 oz 750 ml
Sodium sulfite, anhydrous 467 grains 32.0 grams
Amidol 77 grains 5.3 grams
Potassium bromide 7 grains 0.5 grams
Cold water to 32 oz 1 liter

This developer oxidizes very fast. Mix just before using. Develop for 2 min
not diluted. Use citric acid stop bath.

*Dasonville D-3 Autotoning developer (same formula as Edwal 106 and Ansco 11=
5)

Water at 125=B0F/52=B0C 16 oz 500 ml
Sodium sulfite 2.3/4 oz 82.5 grams
Sodium carbonate, monohyd 4 oz 263 grains 138.0 grams
Glycin 387 grains 26.5 grams
Hydroquinone 124 grains 8.5 grams
Potassium bromide 55 grains 3.7 grams
Water to 32 oz 1 liter

=46or warm black tones, dilute 1+3 with water for bromide papers. For brown
blacks, dilute 1+7. At 1+15 it produces tones known as "gravure brown".
Developing times vary from 2 min up to 6 min depending on dilution and type
of paper.
