Well, as long as the FeOx lasts. I think its a risky proposition since your
expensive metals' lives are now dependent on your cheap metals (ie iron)
which will certainly die within months (3-6). Anyway, the savings in
convenience is small. Now if you wanted to premix the precious metals (Pt &
Pd) in whatever proportion without the FeOx, they'll last indefinitely.

By the way, for you and others, adding EDTA and Oxalic Acid to FeOx gives
it added speed and shelf life; the EDTA also helps the FeOx dissolve more
quickly. The formula I use was given to my by Martin Axon: 26.8 gm FeOx,
1.6gm EDTA, 4.8gm Oxalic Acid, 99ml H20 (hot).
