Kevin, ferric ammonium citrate costs about $20 per pound in the States.
You ought to be able to find a cheaper supplier even in Australia -- it
doesn't have to be chemically pure. There are old formulas for blue
prints with other ingredients (look in some of the old formularies or
dictionaries, or maybe Cassell's, if you have it), but they might be
just as expensive from your sources....
