I had some success with selenium toning *before* putting in the fixer, tho
the change of color isn't very much. Blue toning finished and dry VDB
prints is very easy, and I've done it with intent of alleviating a dreary
uninteresting VDB, but basically it's a hard way of getting a less
archival cyanotype..
