I would like to combine a "ordinairy" B/W print with a cyanotype for a
future project. That is I would like to expose a B/W paper, mostly around
the edge, process normal, and after fixing and drieng (partialy) coat for
cyanotype and expose again. I guess that the coating shouldn't be problem
(probably more convenient to use RC rather than fibre based B/W paper in
respect to the amount of chemicals and the longer washing step for fiber
base(baryt) ).
But what about the chemical (in)compatibility? Whil both images be
stable togheter, can the silver print stand (strong) UV exposure. Any
input on these maters greatly appreciated!

Another thing which I like to ask (excuse my ignorance ), but what exactly
is a step tablet/wedge, and how do you make one? I did a quick search in
the archives, but couldn't find anything clear. I guess it's a strip of
neg. film exposed with different/stronger densities, which you can use to
check your exposure(range).

Thanks,
