I think i've told this little gem before, but,:
when looking at grad schools i wuz told by the "dean of students" (as i
recall it) at San Francisco Art Institute, "If you were a better
photographer, you wouldn't need to make such beautiful prints."
then again, i lived in and around Yosemite Valley for a couple years, and
always got akick outta them folks who set up their view cameras on the
bridge and "bang off" Half Dome.
We had a saying at the Associated Press: You Can't Polish A Turd
