This works.

1. Make up the liquid gelatine.

2. Using a beater as used for batter or omelettes, rather than a blender, slowly
stir in the 10 % of black pigment.

3. Pour onto the paper in the reservoir.

4. Comb off the bubbles.

and so on.

Most students get it to work on their first or second try.
