*Don't* get the BLB. They have always been 3 times the price (at least
around here) at the same time that they give less light -- because that
(expensive) blue glass shields all but the 350 nm light from getting out.
Has absolutely NO benefit for our purposes, and considerable loss since
you lose useful spikes of light -- it's done for discos to make your
Nikes fluoresce.

I suspect, BTW, that the 350 mentioned on the bulb would refer to
wavelength, or nm's (350 being the classical "black light" wavelength).

The other numbers tell the watts and the diameter -- T12, being the usual
fat fluorescent we're used to, T8 being the thinner bulb I've been told
the industry is changing to conserve electricity.
