My question is in reference to a sentence by Dick Sullivan that goes
quite a few messages back. Richard says in reference to platinum printing "
I'm able to produce at least 5 paper grades of difference in contrast in one
negative by using two different developer formulas, neither of which is
pumped up with an oxidizer and neither is grainy." Mr. Sullivan or any one
else with such results, I would be interested in which developers or
developer formulas you are using. I have gone back and forth between
potassium oxalate and ammonium citrate noting some change in contrast and
quite a bit of change in color. but not quite the magnitude of 5 paper
grades.
