People have suggested that amidol is very expensive.
It is not cheap.
Diaminophenoldihydrochloride is 30 pounds for one hundred grams in the Aldrich
catalogue for the 98 %amidol.
At sixteen grains per pint that is not so much that the price takes it out of
all consideration especially when one sees the final result.
