I have never done any, but am curious. I have a basic understanding of the
theory of monochrome holography, but know relatively little about how those
viewable with white light are produced. Are these made using a red, green, and
blue laser system? If so are the beams produced by separating the spectral
lines from a HeNe laser? Where does one get the blue?

What would be the basic equipment needed if one wanted to tinker a bit? Any
good books?
