selling images?

This may not be the appropriate listserve for these questions, but I
wwould like to give it a try. Thank you for your patience.


1. Has anyone had experience selling images (or copies of) meant for
decor through magazine ads (magazines such as Home and Garden, Sunset,
etc.)? If so, can you suggest reading material that would help me learn
about this.

2. Can anyone tell me if forgoing the purchase of a digital camera
outfit is possible if images are scanned, then stored on a disc?
