I have received e mails off list that contained helpful and constructive
information and advice from people who I wish would make the same comments on
the list as their contributions would be so valuable to us all.

I suppose it is a reflection of how we behave at public meetings. But sitting
at the keyboard cannot, surely, be the same as having hundreds of eyes staring
at one in the a hall.

I would like to support Judy's implied suggestion that lurkers should come into
the light, at least sometimes even if they just prefer to lurk.

Even if someone is rude, and it does not happen very often, this is a well
regulated list and there are people, like Judy, who are not prepared to sit by,
and, in the last resort, Steve who has the ultimate sanction.
