Indeed: Late August 1996, I think, will give you some mail - if I remember
correctly the origins were Canada, Germany and VERY downtown Manhattan...

Unfortunately, as it wasn't something I was really in need of at the time I
didn't save it and can't remember quite what it was all about, although I
do vaguely recally some etymology (NOT entymology, although, on
reflection....) as to the origins of the word. I think there was some
technical stuff too.
