I know it isn't what you asked (don't you HATE that) but I did have as
student of mine do a Xerox (color) transfer to canvas with great results. The
canvas was stretched & primed. The Xerox was done "mirror image" because the
image had writing on it. She transferred it with Wintergreen oil and it looked
great. Xerox, the poor person's Polaroid.
