My turn to go off the subject, but maybe it will be interesting. Another
student here recently scanned an image (a painting in this instance) and
did some work to it via photoshop and then printed it on a color printer.
He then pieced it together (8.5 x 11s) and applied an acrylic polymer to
the back in several coats. He then soaked it in the bath tub for a bit and
was able to remove the paper (?) from the back leaving a really wild piece
of art attached to this rubber like substance. I think it needs alot of
work but I was amazed at how the color computer printouts could be
transformed by the acrylic.
