Well, I'd say think nothing of it. JUST CLEAN everything up in an
extremely thorough fashion.
Couple of years ago I eopened a box of my prints from Mexico and
hundreds of termites crawled out. They'd gone in surrepticiously through
a crack in concrete, along through a 2x4 and, voila, into my archival
boxes. Ruined years of work.
I took everything out of the area, cleaned, filled cracks, doubly
cleaned, and, no trouble since. My heart still aches ... but, I have the
negs.
