Bromoil Ink Question

Dear All,

I have just started experimenting with Bromoil. With a little help from
various books and this list I have got a basic process working. My question
is about inks. I am currently using Lithographic Ink 1796 Black, from
Graphic Chemical & Inks Co USA.

I wonder how other workers colour ink? I have seen Bromoil's of various
colours, red chalk etc... Do you find a supply of ready pigmented ink? Or do
you modify some existing ink, if so with what? I have some oil and chalk,
which I was advised could be used to modify the ink - harder or softer. So
far I have found that its best to use the ink stright from the can.

Any comments suggestions welcome.

Thanks for the help so far!

brgds
