Just thought I would catch everyone up with my lab ware "clean up" project.
Nothing worked to clean the stains (platinum deposits??) from my glass
labware (used for mixing platinum solutions), untill I got real basic.
Brillo Pads! Simple steel wool and soap, I guess it needed more abrasion,
and less chemicals. I didn't scratch the beaker, and seeing as I only got
worried about the black build up after 3 or 4 years of use, it seems like
an easy solution.
