I have a very similar print here which I found last summer in Danmark. The
imprint on the back is the same. It was made the 15th of August 1912 at the
Tivoli. The image shows some perforated black line along the long sides, which I
assume, comes from the developing "machine".
You are right, it is a "ferrotype on paper", an early version of instant
photography.
