Thanks for sharing your 8x10 volks-kamera! I, too, have made
similiar experiements. You must be good pals with your optician
because mine charges me $20 EACH for the meniscus plastic lenses!
Maybe it's just inflation in the States? They are some sort of
hardened & COATED plastic at least... sigh.
I was using Amry surplus 50 calibre machine gun ammunition boxes
which cost about $7 and are designed to be wqterproof. They are
totally indestructable. However, a policeman might want to see
what was in the 6 ammo boxes in the back of my pick-up truck!
Also used salvaged 6x9cm camera shutters like yourself...
What fun for so little!
