As long as precautions are being taken to avoid inhaling the dust, and
gloves, etc. are worn, I wouldn't worry too much about it. My recollection is
that the biggest danger is ingestion, and that several inches of air,
packaging, etc. is enough to stop just about all of the alpha and beta
emissions, that the gamma levels didn't get scary until you got a good-sized
quantity rather densely assembled.

Still, I'm paranoid enough that I'd not use it on food crockery out of fear
of leaching..;)
