As a former student of Deli's, I can verify 3 gms is a typo. Should have
been 30 gms. It reminds me of the recipe for bourbon balls I ran across
recently. It called for a cup of bourbon and 3 graham cracker crumbs!!
In my own photogravure work, I have used the 35gms to 1 liter distilled
water with consistent success. Both Kolb's book and Deli's are excellent.
Kolb's perhaps better organized and I have used it when I teach the
