(some of these dates are wrong, by a few years, I understand from Luis that
Fresson if correct that he would have been using Fresson 4 years before it
was invented. But several of the prints I saw were marked Fresson, most
marked oil)

I have recently started making bromoils, and can see some similarity between
the sort of effects that Misonne got and "straight" bromoil. Obviously, this
takes some imagination given that my humble attempts are not quite in the
same class as his work.

When I get time I will contact the various Belgian photo organisations to
see if they have any information on the technical details of his work. His
patents and work should be documented some old Belgian publications. Maybe
the photo exhibits in Antwerp or Chaleroi may have some records of this.

Anyway, happy to pass on anything I find, and would be interested in
anything you find. It was due to seeing L.Misonne's work that I got
interested in alt techniques.

Will post to the list to see if anybody else has information to add to the
Leonard Misonne appreciation society!
