I kept out of this as my philosophy is to keep anything that is likely to
make you dead quickly, eg potassium cyanide and mercuric chloride, away
from my dark room. But then I have a larger bottle of sulphuric acid and a
larger one of collodion.

My ideas of what is nasty have also changed. I have oodles of oxalic acid
that I used to think was enough to kill the town bot now I find that french
polishers bath in it and put in each other's tea as a joke. ( Not
recommended).

Dichromates now arrive in cases containing packing and then a larger can in
which is the plastic container with the salt.
20 g of gold chloride arrived the other day in a large case in which there
was so much polystyrene that we could not find the gold. It turned out that
the container was smaller than each of the hundreds of polystyrene shapes
and we eventually found it at the bottom of the dust bin ( trash can ).

Was there any luck with Henkel for supplying Gloy to the US market?
