Although reading this thread with interest, I keep expecting the postings
to refer to 'oil pigment'printing rather than 'carbon printing' which this
thread is about.
In relation to 'oil pigment printing' I use a very small amount of chrome
alum in the first of the gelatine coats to provide resistance to the force
of the inking brush and thus keep the gelatine adhered to the paper during
inking up,
