And to add something even better: Corning Glass Cleaner. First of all, it
contains its own detergent/surfactant, but it also leaves an almost
molecular layer of a silicone, invisible but still there. I use it for
cleaning trays, glassware, and (in the past) chrome tins for ferrotyping
(eliminated spotting). Great stuff, and you should try it. It is slightly
abrasive, but not enough to scratch glass or plastic. Sure has made cleaning
up a simple operation. And I do think it will help you in getting a finish
to which the gelatin won't stick.
